We were delighted to see Westminster City Council resolve to grant planning permission virtually last week for the 90 Long Acre scheme in Covent Garden. Core Five are Cost Consultants and Employer’s Agents on the landmark scheme for Northwood Investors, alongside Platform development managers, Gensler architects and Arup engineers. The new proposals involve a major refurbishment and extension of the existing 1980s building to meet the needs of modern office occupiers, and substantially improves the public realm at the base. By refurbishing and extending the existing building the scheme provides a much more sustainable approach than an equivalent new build, with significant embodied carbon reductions. We are proud of our contributions so far on this exciting scheme and look forwards to seeing it progress.
