Last week we held our second annual ‘Working Better Together’ conference, which was an opportunity for the teams from our London and Birmingham offices to come together and discuss the future of the business. During the conference we talked about how we can continue to improve and evolve our award winning client-focused service, and how to remain an employer of choice for the best people in the industry. The spirited discussion covered topics including the importance of sustainability, how we make the best use of technology, and celebrating our diversity. We wrapped things up with an incredibly moving presentation from Jess Phillimore at Coram, our charity partner.
The conference took place in the stylish Bankside Hotel, part of the wider One Blackfriars development, which Core Five worked on with long-term client, St.George, for a number of years.
Founding Partner Chris Amesbury commented: “Our 2020 Working Better Together conference was another real success, providing a forum for the whole team to consider how we can continue to improve our offer and evolve as a practice. We had real engagement across the board, with a significant number of insightful suggestions for many areas of the business. After a fantastic 2019 this sets us up for an even more successful 2020, continuing to make good on our promise to deliver ‘large firm expertise with a niche firm service’ for our clients on some of the most exciting and challenging projects in the industry.”
