Recent project wins in the office refurbishment sector have pushed Core Five over the 3,000,000 ft2 barrier for refurbished office schemes advised on in the last 12 months. We are proud to be involved in so many schemes to assist Client desire to not only reduce the period a site remains vacant but also to reduce their carbon footprint by recycling existing assets. Our recent experience record ranges from simple decoration and refresh whilst tenants remain in-situ, to heavy cut and carve with extensions to maximise the nett lettable area and improve the quality of floorspace (and external space), and everything in between. We are very well versed in covering the numerous challenges inherent in these schemes, and we work alongside some excellent Design Teams to bring the very best value out of an existing building.
1 Berkeley Street (pictured) exemplifies this approach, where we are working with Crosstree Real Estate Partners, AHMM and others to reinvent this city block in Mayfair.
David Gabe, Partner, commented “We are very pleased to confirm this milestone, reflective of our deep expertise in this sector and the trust our Clients put in us. The sector provides a real opportunity to bring life back into London’s existing building stock, with sustainability, cost and programme efficiencies. We work as trusted advisors alongside our Design Team colleagues and Main Contractors to help Clients reduce risk and enhance value”.
