Core Five’s 21 for 21 Project 21 – Lucan Place for Gulf Islamic Investment
We are acting as Employer’s Agent and Cost Consultant on this redevelopment of the former 1930s Chelsea Police Station. The scheme replaces it with a high quality mixed-use development comprising 31 residential units and ancillary residential facilities, social and community use at ground and lower ground level for nursery and educational use, together with improvements to the public realm.
The project will deliver new homes, alongside social and community uses designed with nursery provider, Kido, and specialist education and care provider, Mom’s Belief, both of whom will occupy the property.
Our Employer’s Agent team is currently overseeing the demolition of the Police Station with associated Enabling Works, whilst our Cost Consultant team is leading on the procurement of the new build elements in readiness for main works of this exciting scheme to commence in the second half of the year. The project has utilised BIM 360 to facilitate sharing and co-ordination of the 3D model. This consistent sharing of information between the team has enabled the Core Five team to review, quantify and cost the project within the 3D environment.
