We’re delighted that 171 Victoria Street has reached another important milestone, with John Sisk & Son Ltd appointed as main contractor for the redevelopment of the former John Lewis headquarters in Westminster.

We’re providing pre- and post-contract Cost Consultant and Employer’s Agent services on behalf of Kirkglade Limited, including cost planning from feasibility stage, selection and management of enabling works contractor, façade contractor and Main Works contractor through to Main contract execution.

The scheme will transform the building into more than 200,000 sqft of Grade A office space, with sustainability at its core. Plans include a full façade replacement using low-carbon Oraé glass and the world’s first Environmental Protection Declarations (EPD) certified low-carbon glass, offering a 40% reduction in carbon impact compared to standard glass. The project also prioritises the recycling and reuse of existing materials, including steelwork, concrete, 500 stainless steel window frames and glazed units.
