Terrace View is a new Premium General Admission area within the existing Holte end GA concourse. It includes new facades to both internal and external elevations, an improved wheelchair viewing area, self-order facilities for food and beverages, an external terrace, and good quality GA+ food offering.
Key Project Feature
- The project was delivered on an accelerated programme, with brief / design commencing in January 2023, and completed in time for the start of the 23/24 season
- The project was awarded Best Concourse Activation Project at The Stadium Business Awards in recognition of the significant enhancement in spectator experience
- Works were delivered within an existing stand containing legacy systems which supported the adjacent concourse areas and had to be maintained
- Construction work had to be completed within the confines of the close season – i.e. between mid-May and mid-August

- The accelerated programme created challenges around obtaining the club’s desired risk allocation, particularly in completing the new offer ready for the start of the season with no disruption to fans
- As part of our work across Aston Villa’s wider masterplan for the stadium, we engaged early with the market and delivered a procurement strategy which protected the client’s end date, and delivered the project within budget
