I am an Associate Partner in Core Five’s Commercial team and have been fortunate enough during my time at Core Five to work on a variety of developments including high end residential, major mixed-use schemes and commercial new build and refurbishments.
I’m passionate about construction, technology and a data focused, analytical approach to building. I strive to deliver based on a clear understanding of my Client’s requirements paired with intelligent application of our specialist knowledge to ensure true value is implemented on projects. I’ve been actively involved in the construction industry since leaving school at 16 where I started my life in the built environment as a site carpenter. I’ve been fortunate enough to gain experience at each level of the industry as I’ve progressed throughout my career working up to Associate Partner level within Core Five.
I joined Core Five in 2016 and have worked with a number of high-profile Developers across both the commercial and residential sectors. My project experience ranges from a £400+million mixed use development to smaller scale commercial new builds and redevelopments, I strive to bring the same level of value, enthusiasm, and passion to each job I am involved with.
What do you think is the biggest opportunity for our industry in the next 10 years?
Capitalising on our growing data bank and pairing this with emerging technologies to apply a data driven approach to construction projects. Smart analysis of data will enable us to provide robust industry leading advice which, through the use of emerging technologies, can be at the fingertips of our Clients at the touch of a button.
What inspired you to join the construction and property industry?
I’m not sure I was inspired to join it as such, I sort of fell into the industry through humble beginnings as a site carpenter working on old church and barn roofs. I must have enjoyed it as I stuck at it and slowly transitioned from working on small jobs out in the countryside to advising on costs for major construction projects in central London.
