I work in Core Five’s Arts, Culture, Sport and Leisure team. I believe the key to a successful project is understanding what value means to the Client. I work to achieve the best value through a deep understanding of cost drivers and how these interplay with Clients’ aspirations. I have a keen interest in the early stages of a project during feasibility and design, this is where I offer substantial added benefits and value to the project.
I joined Core Five in 2015 and have 15 years of industry experience. I have a wealth of experience covering all areas of cost management on a range of significant, major and landmark projects within the Stadium and Arena sector. I have a proactive and personable approach to client relationship management, responding to business needs and achieving optimum outcome from investment and expenditure.
What attracted you to join Core Five?
I was impressed by the amount of time senior leaders spent being Client-facing, and the whole firm ethos was to enable staff spending as much time as possible doing the same, with effective internal systems designed to support this.
What is the most rewarding part of your role at Core Five?
Helping Clients and designers at the early stages of a project to find opportunities to maximise value – be that through cost savings or relatively cheap ways to do something different which increases revenues. For example, ways to keep spectators using seats during construction works.
