What do you think is the biggest opportunity for our industry in the next 10 years?
Sustainability will go beyond compliance to regulations and will become a people’s movement as greater awareness of limited resources is realised. Standard, prefabricated, modular concepts will enhance compatibility among building and infrastructure projects, improve economies of scale, enhance productivity, and accelerate the industrialisation of the construction industry.
What is your favourite building and why?
Basílica de la Sagrada Familia, the details that have gone into the structure so far is remarkable and I hope I get to visit it when it completes 144 years after construction started!
