What inspired you to join the construction and property industry?
I just love beautiful architecture. There is something very tangible about the built environment and I wanted to play my part in creating stunning buildings.
What is your favourite building and why?
The World Trade Centre Transportation Hub building in New York by Santiago Calatrava. I have always been a massive fan of this architect and this, to me, is an exceptional example of his work. The oculus at ground level evokes the image of a dove taking flight from someone’s hand – a very fitting image of peace for a site that has experienced so much sadness and loss. A truly uplifting piece of architecture that reminds me of what I hoped to achieve when I joined this profession.
