As a Partner in our residential team, I have led teams in the delivery of prime residential and mixed-use construction projects for many leading developers in the UK. Clear and concise communication on matters that affect cost, risk, and viability of the scheme is a keystone of that delivery. In many instances, how you deliver your message is equivocal in terms of importance alongside its content.

I joined Core Five in 2013. Prior to that I was at Davis Langdon, joining them as a Graduate Surveyor before being promoted to Partner in 2006.

I have experience across a broad range of challenging and complex projects, including high-rise residential towers for developers such as St George, Berkeley Homes, Canary Wharf Group and LandSec. Alongside cost management, I look to focus on optimising procurement and contract management strategies. I am also an industry author and have provided expert witness reports.

What do you think is the biggest opportunity for our industry in the next 10 years?

Tackling the conversion of existing real estate stock to address the sustainability and climate change agenda.
