I am an Associate in Core Five’s Commercial Team, driven by a commitment to continuous learning and development. I constantly seek opportunities to improve how we operate and deliver value. I strongly believe in the importance of passing down knowledge to those starting their careers, a principle I strive to embody in my work.
As a personable and dedicated team member, I take a meticulous approach to ensure the projects I work on are delivered to the highest standards. The inherently fragmented nature of construction, involving multiple stakeholders, requires proactive effort to identify and capitalise on opportunities to enhance value. This challenge is one I embrace wholeheartedly on every project I undertake.
Since joining Core Five in 2017, I have accumulated extensive experience working on commercial projects in London, managing a wide range of pre- and post-contract activities. My primary focus has been on complex refurbishment projects of varying scales and complexities, where the reuse of existing structures and upcycling materials—aligned with circular economy principles—are central to the project brief. Key clients I have collaborated with on such projects include British Land, Helical, Ashby Capital, and Berkeley Estate Asset Management.
Entering the industry as a non-cognate with a degree in Geography, my professional experience aligns perfectly with my academic background and reflects my commitment to fostering a sustainable built environment. Driven by my passion for environmental sustainability, I played a pivotal role in proposing and enabling Core Five to achieve Carbon Net Zero status in 2019. I led our sustainability working group, delivering presentations to clients on carbon assessments and equipping my colleagues with the skills to perform these assessments effectively.
