As an Associate Partner in Core Five’s Commercial Team, I can offer both Cost Management and Employer’s Agent services for Clients. I go the extra mile to ensure the team are providing a consistently high standard of service within the required timescales. Integrity and collaboration are key – I like to work closely with my Clients, the project team and my colleagues to ensure the best possible outcome. With a breadth of experience in extensive cut and carve refurbishment projects I provide advice to de-risk projects and spot opportunities to maximise value.
I joined Core Five in 2017 and have a substantial amount of experience across various sectors including commercial, residential and hotels to name a few, but my focus since joining Core Five has largely been on commercial office developments on schemes of various sizes and complexity for Clients including Crosstree and Bankfoot. I’m currently using my experience to develop a “Centre of Excellence” for office refurbishment projects with varying levels of intervention with the aim being to demonstrate our capability to our Clients and provide a useful tool that can be used within the company for any of my colleagues working on refurbishment projects.
What is the most rewarding part of your role at Core Five?
Mentoring and supporting my colleagues towards developing their skills and experience and achieving their own career goals. Ensuring people get the right support and training is crucial for the service we provide and for the future of our industry.
What inspired you to join the construction and property industry?
My dad was a joiner to trade and had his own construction company before he retired so, I’ve always been interested in construction. It was just a case of deciding which role suited me best.
