I am a key part of Core Five’s Digital, Data + Research Team and our remit is to progress and develop our use of digital tools and knowledge to increase efficiency in our role as cost managers and add value to our projects and clients.

I have a wealth of project experience gained over the last 20+ years in all sectors, project values, design teams and across many locations around the world.

Having been part of the BIM world since it was first considered, I have witnessed the progress and development of the technology used in the construction world and look forward continuing this development and seeing what AI will provide us with.

I am passionate about digital construction and possess unique insight and experience in this field, I am involved with many industry initiatives and regularly speak at industry events and deliver lectures and training on the subject at several Universities.

What do you think is the biggest opportunity for our industry in the next 10 years?

Efficiency that will be achieved through digitalisation of design and associated processes.

What is your favourite building and why?

The Empire State Building combines several passions for me; Art Deco, New York, a world famous icon, incredible construction achievement and story as it approaches its centenary.
