Our summer work experience placements are underway, and we were thrilled to welcome Ethan to Core Five last week, via our ongoing relationship with Construction Youth Trust.
Ethan worked with our sports team and had the opportunity to visit New Riverside Stand, the soon-to-be home of Fulham Football Club, an amazing 9,000-seat main stand, alongside the River Thames. This amazing building comprises a basement and 5-storey, 2-tier stand with events spaces, food courts, a restaurant, members club, boutique hotel, and a spa!
Ethan was also lucky enough to join us for our annual team sports day which included the three-egged race, welly wanging, hula hooping and rounders! A fantastic opportunity for him to meet the wider team and participate in one of our many social activities.
We are incredibly passionate about our relationship with Construction Youth Trust and want to use this platform to help young people discover a career in the construction and built environment sector. Our aim is to help remove some of the barriers and to encourage a broader and more diverse range of perspectives within our industry. Engaging with students in our local community and sharing our experience and knowledge is a great way of doing this. We hope to see some of the students applying for our Core Five Apprenticeship program very soon!
