Last weekend 22 of our most intrepid walkers left for Hathersage to take part in this year’s Core Five Walking Weekend around the Peak District.

As you can see from the photos the views were spectacular, and the cracking weather kept morale high.

The length of the walk was somewhere between 21-25km, depending on the skills of each map reader… and some even managed to walk the whole thing backwards! The evening pub dinner was more than deserved.

A big thank you to the people of Hathersage (specifically the staff of The Little John) for putting up with us.
