Our most recent Core Thoughts piece “The Road to EPC B: 2030 Challenge” highlights the challenges that Landlords and Developers might face following the requirements set by the UK Government for commercial properties to achieve Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) B by 2030 as a key driver in achieving net zero carbon by 2050.
The report highlights a number of indicative cost scenarios based on the minimum requirements to achieve EPC B, which vary depending on a number of factors. Whilst the main purpose of this report is to highlight EPC requirements, we have also acknowledged “the bigger picture” should there be an aspiration to do more than meet the minimum EPC requirements and target a “best in class” office specification / offering.
