Core Five is a net zero carbon business, and this is at the forefront of what we do, so how can we help our Clients achieve the same for their buildings?
- Our Engineering Services team work collaboratively with design teams to drive value into the engineering services design. This ensures our Clients’ requirements are met, whilst also looking to reduce both capital and carbon expenditure.
- Core Five can undertake embodied carbon assessments (through our ECO offering) which enables a well-informed embodied carbon assessment to take place from our early-Stage design assumptions. As this design develops, we can update this assessment, and advise accordingly to refine our carbon impact.
- Where not specified by designers, renewable solutions can be proposed by Core Five to assist in the Carbon Tax offset. Although the investment of a renewable solution is realised by a client upfront, rewards can often be reaped through the gaining of industry accreditations.
- Sustainable buildings can command higher rental income, and at Core Five we liaise closely with sustainability consultants to ascertain how different credits can be achieved by implementation at an early stage.
Not only do these items mean buildings are more sustainable, reducing carbon use and potential capital costs, but driving the net zero carbon agenda is so important to us and our Clients especially as the guidelines tighten around such an important subject which is key to our planet’s future.
