Who we are
Our dedicated Engineering Services team, led by five Partners, with a combined industry experience of more than 160 years, work across every project, in all sectors, to deliver best in class cost and procurement advice.
Our dynamic team come from a variety of backgrounds, including traditional quantity surveying practices, engineering consultants, and those with contractor experience.
We are passionate about developing school leavers into qualified Engineering Services surveyors, through our apprenticeship programme, providing them with a platform to boost their careers from the outset by gaining practical experience in a busy, knowledgeable team whilst studying towards their RICS accredited degree. We are proud to have developed our own specialist surveyors, Alfie Burns and Louis Goff through this programme.
Our Approach
Often considered to be the ‘dark art’ of construction, and with Engineering Services contributing a significant proportion of a project’s total capital expenditure, our business and Clients recognise the importance of having a specialist team that can actively forecast costs, proactively challenge design at all stages, and positively engage with the market.
All of Core Five’s projects have a dedicated Engineering Services resource, led by a senior member of the team to ensure that the project is set on the right course to success from day one. This senior resource, supported by the team, will be hands on and visible at all stages of a project through to completion.
