As part of the scheme, Writers House will be refurbished to provide community floor space, incorporating educational facilities and affordable work space for social enterprises.

- Precast façade comprising brick on UHPC (ultra high performance concrete) with high-quality glass and aluminium spandrel panel inserts.
- Cascading biophilic and planted balconies subdivide the massing vertically and stepping terraces subdivide the vertical elements horizontally.
- The roofs are treated as the fifth elevation with extensive greening and energy production. With access limited to maintenance only, they are designed to bolster biodiversity.
