I am a Partner within Core Five’s Engineering Services team where I specialise in complex, high value major engineering services projects. I always strive to ensure the successful delivery of the engineering services, vertical transportation and utility elements, and achieve the best value, while delivering the Client’s brief.

I joined Core Five in 2018 and have over 30 years’ industry experience with a background in both contracting and consultancy practices. I have extensive specialist engineering services knowledge, having worked across the UK and Europe, where I have helped deliver some of the most iconic developments on behalf of Clients including Landsec, British Land and Stanhope.

I work across most sectors in the construction industry, with a particular focus on commercial office, residential, data centres, hotels and, sports. The majority of my project experience lays within the UK but I have also worked in the Middle East and Mainland Europe.

What attracted you to join Core Five?

The main attraction was the variety of projects, across multiple sectors with so many well known Clients. The fact I knew so many of the team from previous organisations was also a key factor.

What inspired you to join the construction and property industry?

I started off as a 16 year old school leaver working as an apprentice electrician interested in the practical side of the construction industry, but building sites in winter were just too cold! This did provide a great background for future studies, to become a specialist QS!
