I am a Partner within our Corporate Real Estate team, leading with a proactive and positive approach, focused on delivering solutions rather than identifying problems. I see my role as needing to identify the Clients drivers for success and ensure the cost management is strategically set up correctly to deliver these drivers.

I joined the team at Core Five in 2013 as a Partner and I have over 30 years’ experience in the industry, working predominantly in the office fit-out and refurbishment sector.

I am a well-known, respected member of the London fit-out market working alongside award winning designers and engineers such T.P Bennett, Perkins + Will, TB+A and, Chapman BDSP for numerous blue-chip Clients such as SMBC Group, Pinsent Mason, Warner Bros., Havas, UBS, RBS, Bloomberg, Formula One, and Unilever, in the legal, finance, insurance, and, corporate sectors.

What inspired you to join the construction and property industry?

My dad (who is an electrician). Back in he day he told me that there were all these young dynamic surveyors turning up on building projects in fast cars and snazzy suits (I still have a dig at him for leading me up the garden path!).

What is your favourite building and why?

Unilever House, Victoria Embankment because it was/still is a fantastic advertisement for a refurbishment that took an iconic building and transformed it into a modern classic with a stunning atrium. I was fortunate to work with a team where everyone (i.e. Client, Landlord, Construction Manager, Trade Contractors and Designers) bought into the collective to successfully deliver a complex refurbishment.
