I am a Partner in our Birmingham office and responsible for developing and delivering our regional offer. I have always had a passion for improving how we deliver our services from both a technical and personal perspective.

My focus is always on making the complex simple and providing accurate data at the right time to enable Clients to make the best decisions. Similarly, I continue to explore how we develop deep relationships externally with Clients, Contractors and Consultants whilst also building strong teams internally by creating an environment where our people can build brilliant careers.

I joined Core Five in 2018 as a Partner and have over 20 years’ experience, more than 15 of which have been spent in Birmingham. During this time, I have specialised in large complex projects across several sectors including residential, commercial, manufacturing, education, and mixed-use developments.

What do you think is the biggest opportunity for our industry in the next 10 years?

I think the biggest opportunity is to reposition the industry and the projects we deliver so we can positively engage in responses to climate, diversity, technology and other significant issues. We can define our purpose to achieve brilliant things, create great spaces and build fulfilling careers.

What is your most used app on your phone and why?

Spotify, definitely Spotify! The first thing I do when I get to the office is get the music on for the team so they can really appreciate the 70s and 80s. My 2021 Spotify “Music Aura” was Tranquil and Intense; I think this sums up 2021 brilliantly.
