As a Partner in our Corporate Real Estate team, my role involves direct line management of senior team members, day to day running of the team, strategic planning and responsibility for the delivery of our services on projects. My mantra is to lead by example; I take an active involvement in all the projects for which I am responsible so that Clients get the benefit of my experience throughout the whole project duration. I also take great pride in helping to develop members of the Core Five team, encouraging ownership and autonomy.

I promote a collaborative approach to projects, but I am also prepared to challenge project team members to ensure the best value solutions for Clients. Understanding a business’ key drivers for a project is essential when preparing our advice.

I have over 25 years of industry experience, where I have led and managed a variety of challenging and successful projects within the corporate real estate, commercial development, residential and data centre markets. My experience has been predominantly in central London, but I have also worked on regional and international projects.

I was the first senior recruit at Core Five in early 2013 shortly after the business was founded in 2012 and was promoted to Partner in 2014. I have worked with a variety of Clients including Muse, Delancey Estates, Allied London Properties, Westbrook Properties, Canary Wharf Group, Gaw Capital, UBS, Citigroup, Barclays, Credit Suisse, and Deutsche Bank.

What attracted you to join Core Five?

Having worked with all the Founding Partners for a number of years at Davis Langdon, I had the upmost respect for their leadership qualities and reputation in the industry and our chosen sectors. The practice remains fully independent and we are experts in the advice we give.

What inspired you to join the construction and property industry?

Construction is such a diverse industry in which to be employed, and it is the people who work in the industry that makes it such a rewarding and fulfilling career. From the visionary Clients, talented Consultants through to the skilled Main Contractors and Specialist Contractors that make it all happen.
