This week, Core Five attended the Topping Out ceremony for The Acre.

The Acre is our scheme at 90 Long Acre for Northwood Investors LLC and Platform, in the heart of Covent Garden. The original Richard Seifert building was dissected into several sections, which have now been stitched back together with new structure to Gensler and Arup design. The schemes re-uses 70% of the existing structure and 6,000m2 of the existing precast facades, giving an embodied carbon assessment in line with the industry’s 2030 goals.
