We had a great time visiting the Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration yesterday!
The newly opened centre is set within a beautifully converted Grade II listed boiler house, bringing a 17th-century building back to life as the UK’s first permanent space dedicated to illustration. The refurbished original structure and chimney, with its exposed bricks visible from within the gallery, add an extra layer of historic charm, celebrating the building’s rich past while enhancing its new purpose.
Having been involved from early stages to provide Cost Consultancy services, it’s fantastic to see this project completed and now welcoming visitors.
