Our Methodology
ECO starts with a rigorous scheme-specific estimate of the embodied carbon content, to which we apply our award-winning construction cost analysis. The two are combined in a detailed optimisation study, which enables our clients to achieve the most advantageous balance of embodied carbon and construction cost for each individual project. Whilst embodied carbon and construction cost are often seen as pulling in different directions, we frequently find opportunities that minimise both.
