Earlier this week Harrison Paul and Maja Zeremski attended Bisnow Co-Living Summit at The Royal Horseguards Hotel & One Whitehall Place in London.
With a ‘first generation’ of Co-Living units now in place, these can serve as a prototype to inform decisions on future projects. There seems to be two main points for the industry to focus on: the impact of operational costs on asset values, addition to capital costs, and how to create shared amenities spaces aimed at different end users while maintaining flexibility.
Also notable is that the demand for Co-Living structures is driven by tenant’s affordability, which is polarised around big cities such as London, Manchester, and Birmingham.
